For young and old, young and young at heart! For adventurers, heroes and explorers! For all those who simply miss something in their lives without music: On the 5th (school day) and 6th (family day) of April 2024 the Festspielhaus will be transformed into an exciting musical labyrinth for everyone aged 5 to 105 to explore.
Varied concerts to listen to and marvel at, programs to take part in and sound artworks to discover for yourself, such as scurrying robot loudspeakers or a trampoline that makes sounds when you bounce: this day is full of surprises.
GREAT FUN FOR CURIOUS EARS
With BIG BANG, the Belgium-based Zonzo Compagnie has been delighting children from Brussels and Reykjavík to Seville, Athens, Tallinn, Lisbon and Ottawa for over 25 years. The Festspielhaus St. Pölten, Jeunesse and the City of St. Pölten are bringing this innovative festival format to Austria for the first time.
Wouter Van Looy, artistic director of Zonzo Compagnie and founder of BIG BANG, is already looking forward to the festival program in St. Pölten: "We serve the young audience only the best of the best in terms of musical quality. And that's exactly what you can expect at the Festspielhaus on April 6."
National and international artists and art initiatives will meet the audience at eye level with a wide variety of formats. They open the door to perhaps as yet unheard musical experiences and also provide great fun for curious ears.
