Ahchiouta'ah

Ahchiouta’ah is a technological installation paying tribute to the artist’s maternal grandmother and to Wendat ancestral spirituality.

A holographic dancing figure appears and vanishes across spinning fans, like a fleeting spirit. Traditional Indigenous and religious chants blend into a playful, hypnotic soundscape. Both critical and humorous, the work reflects an indelible cultural métissage.
