The Tumbala wandering orchestra, armed with peculiar instruments, takes the streets with a groove infused musical performance. This is a plastic/music investigation project that aims to create several portable and sound sculptures that interact with each other, exploring the diverse visual and sound potential of the tube as an object. Each machine employs a variety of PVC tubes over a tubular metal structure that can be used in different ways in order to give rhythm to the musical performance.
