A group of 10 women that create and interprete original a capella musical arrangements of popular Portuguese music. What attracted them to traditional music was the way it speaks about the life of the Portuguese people. Through different harmonies and polyphonic arrangements, they explore the richness of it, bringing the music to our current context. Just like the popular tale of Sopa da Pedra (Stone Soup), the musical creation starts with a simple base – a stone, a tradition, a melody – to which are joined new voices, forming a live harmony that reinvents itself.
