BIG BANG is a music festival for a young audience with a diverse and colourful high quality program consisting of concerts, installations and workshops and where musicians strive to introduce the young audience to music in the most interesting way as well as involving them as participants. The BIG BANG festival in Iceland takes place in Harpa Reykjavík Concert Hall and Conference Center.

About the Reykjavík Children's Culture Festival
Since 2010, The City of Reykjavík annually organizes the Reykjavík Children’s Culture Festival that strives to introduce youth to a wide range of arts disciplines through the medium of workshops and performances. The unique aspect of this festival, and that which sets it apart, is that it places emphasis on participation, focusing on the child as an artist. The guiding light of the festival is quality, diversity, equality and accessibility when it comes to children’s culture, with and for children. In Iceland BIG BANG is a festival within the Children’s Culture Festival in partnership with Reykjavík Music City and Art for all.
