Re-Turn

Following her enchanting performances FeL and FRAMED, choreographer Karolien Verlinden is back with a new, rhythmic project. In Re-Turn, she lets rhythms collide, merge and shift in a lively conversation between dance, sound and space.

You will see a flamenco dancer with Spanish roots and a stepper with African-American roots. Together with an electronic musician, they transform rhythm into movement, sound and silence.

Re-Turn is a lively encounter between cultures and styles, in which the rhythm never stands still: it stops, turns, changes, accelerates and slows down, but it never becomes predictable.
