Ø - Island

Ø is a musical, warm, touching, and funny show about and for children and their grandparents. 

Marie's grandmother has lived a long time and seen a lot. Now she is going blind - a fog has crept into her eye. Marie is growing up and struggles to maintain her immediate and close relationship with her grandmother and their shared memories. 

The violin bow is used as a fishing rod, the guitar becomes a paddle, the cello is a cow, and the bass player is the one who brings anemones and makes the clocks stop at the watchmaker. The concert performance Ø is classical music, strong acting, catchy songs, and thought-provoking lyrics.
