Beyond the visible
Where they went in search of plutonium´s calm
that prodigious hardness of dynamic fossils
the love of idleness
like an atonal, irruptive song
the trees the twilights the translations
and the signs sketched in the rocks
Those luminous rhythms
were later lost with the plowing of time
we are left with the tireless movement
of the sands and each wave that breaks is like the shattering
of wings on the interior of the marrow
Do you have any doubt
that these were the first men
who set foot on earth?
