NOMAD project BIG BANG Festival Tallinn 2020

A journey with a young listener to the sound university

The main characters of this musical journey are seemingly unrelated everyday objects: crystal bowls, drinking glasses, tiles, blocks of sandpaper, bolts, and nails, groats, and papers. The concert introduces an exciting world of sound that can be created with unusual instruments.

On the stage are featured the Estonian Composers' Ensemble (EHA) consisting of Helena Tulve, Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes, Ülo Krigul and Maria Kõrvits, and twenty children-sound masters, who bring to the listeners a musical work for sound objects with theatrical elements.

Authors and performers of the music: Estonian Composers' Ensemble and children aged 10–13.

NOMAD is a traditional part of the BIG BANG Festival. It is based on creative collaboration with children: a jointly learned and prepared concert project, which will be performed at the BIG BANG Festival.
