Foundscape Orchestra is a sound art project in which a building or a space forms the basis for a musical composition. Artist and electronic musician Daniel Maalman creates installations to investigate the effect of sound in physical spaces. Together with sound artist Jasper Schütz, he plays performs a live concert in these spaces with a diverse array of strange self-built instruments. During the concert at BIG BANG Enschede 2023, Daniel and Jasper will collaborate with violinist Brit Issa Rijnen to transform the stairwell of the Wilminktheater into a unique musical experience.
